  1. Just saw “Buck” and was completely captivated by this song. Had no idea what or who it was, but a Google search on “buck song closing credits” brought me to your page! I’ve listened to “Just Breathe” dozens of times since then. What a haunting, haunting song. Thanks for highlighting it!

  2. I feel the same as author.and Peg. man. mindblowing. being so caught up in the movie, and then to hear such a powerful song had me staying reflecting and watching credits like never before. whhat a greatway to hear this song. amps in a theater in the dark. man. Jacquie Levine SPB,Fla

    • I am not entirely sure if there is a “Buck” soundtrack for sale. For one, it is a documentary and I don’t believe most documentaries get soundtrack releases and it was also an independent film, and most of those don’t get soundtrack releases either. But “Just Breathe” is on the latest Pearl Jam album titled “Backspacer” and I do know that it is available on Amazon.com and probably in most record stores or stores that carry CD’s (Best Buy, Target).

      • All movies get releases for their soundtracks. If they didn’t, they would get sued. Even an independent movie, documentary or otherwise, wasn’t done for free. You don’t put several hundred thousand dollars to several million (still a very small movie) into a movie, only to get your ass sued.

That said, not all movies release official soundtracks, which may be what you were trying to say.

  3. Just watched the movie, “Buck” on SHO. What a great story about a man who overcomes his childhood abuse and his oneness with horses. “Your horse is a mirror to your soul, and sometimes you may not like what you see . Sometimes, you will.” Says Buck. Stunning. The movie trailer to this documentary by Pearl Jam, “Just Breath” rocks! Check it out.

  4. Just watched the movie, LOVED IT, Had no idea Pearl Jam had such jam up music Also captivated with ” Just Breath ” I am a new Mac & I 4 S phone user . Trying to figure out how to send it to my husband . I have been months creating a CD for him when I am gone, you never now. This song is at the top of the playlist

  5. BTW- this song surprised me when I was watching Life As We Know It- and it came on! I was super happy. I just love this song- it’s brilliant! Then again, Eddie Vedder always was…

    • Thank you “Buck The Film” for the list of songs. For some reason it was blurred a bit on my TV, and almost impossible for me to read.

  8. I also found this site through a search for this song. I was absolutely transfixed – by the movie and this unbelievably moving song. Everyone should see Buck – it’s an outstanding procedural on how to make your own future and not cave in to “the blame game.”

  9. Sorry it took me over a year to get around to seeing this film we brought home as a rental. Powerful movie that it is capped by an equally powerful song by Pearl Jam. I backed it up three times in disbelief that this amazing folk-roots country singer I was listening to was Eddie Vetter. Now I become the Pearl Jam fan that I never was before. Hats off to Mr Vetter for standing the test of time and becoming a true lyrical and melodic master!

  10. Just watched Buck for the 6th time can’t get enough who would of thought pearl jam and Buck what a fit great song and a great life!!!
